About Me

Hi, my name is Chandra Ford. I am turning 50 this year of 2019 and some days it feels like I have been alive twice that long. I nearly died at the age of 39 from complications of other surgeries that caused my small bowel to stop working for three and a half weeks. It was a long road to recovery, but Jesus met me at every turn. This blog is sort of a diary of my conversations with Jesus. I’m in love with Him and He is returning me each day to my original design. I spend my mornings walking and talking with Jesus, in His garden. The longer my relationship with Him continues, the more time I long to spend in His Presence.

I am a simple girl, raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma. I’ve been married to the love of my life, Matt Ford (Hubby), since March of 1991 and we’ve raised three incredible adults who love the Lord. God gave me my Knight in Shining Armor when I got Hubby! It hasn’t always seemed that way, but over the years he has definitely proven that his love for me can endure through all odds and help to heal the wounds from feeling unwanted. I wasn’t raised feeling as if I was the apple of my dad’s eye. In fact, I felt as if I was more of a burden than a blessing. I did my best to “win” his approval for many years, but I have learned that you can’t win the approval of someone who doesn’t approve of themselves. That view of myself, “rejected”, followed me for over 40 years though I was saved at the age of nine and married to the love of my life. The last 10 years I’ve spent asking my Daddy what He thinks of me and He tells me and I am beginning to believe Him! I was a broken young woman and I needed to hear what my Daddy said of me so that I could begin to let Him heal the wounds and put the broken pieces back together.

For the past ten years God has been creating a beautiful, stain-glassed, mosaic with all those shattered pieces. I know that if He will do it for me, after all I’ve sinned and fallen short with, He will do the same for you! He sees you as beautiful and complete in His Son, Jesus. There is nothing you can do that would keep Him from wanting you to be a part of our family! NOTHING! So, if you are not a member of the family of Christ today, you can be just by asking. If you need help, I am available and would be honored to bring you into the family of Christ. You can contact me at TruthSeeker24@yahoo.com or through Facebook Messenger. God will make good of your entire story, start to finish, when you love Him and choose Him. I will leave you with my favorite promise in the Bible (and my car tag reads “RMNS828”)…

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who LOVE HIM, who have been called according to His purpose for them.” Roman 8:28
