In My Mother’s Womb

“Heavenly Father, thank you for choosing me and loving me before you made this world. You are my true Father. My Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and the true end of all things including my life. I love You, I trust You, I worship You, I give myself over to you, Father, to be ONE with you as Jesus is one with you. Thank you for proving Your love for me by sending Jesus. I receive Him, and all of His life, and all of His work which you ordained for me. Thank you for including me in Christ, raising me with Him, seating me with Him at your right hand, establishing me in His authority, and anointing me with Your love, and Your Spirit, and Your favor. I receive it all with thanks and give it total claim to my life, spirit, soul, and body, heart mind, and will.”

Paragraph 3 from my Ransomed Heart Daily Prayer. There is so much meat in this paragraph, and by meat I mean truth in Scripture. Beginning with the first sentence that speaks to Jeremiah 1:5 and Psalms 139:13 which tell us that God knew us before He formed us in our mother’s womb. I don’t know the extent of that and what it means, but I do know that I was chosen and that He knows every intricate detail of my life and my body. He created me and you. You’ve probably heard the old adage, “God doesn’t make junk!”, but it’s actually true. He designed each one of us and we may not fit into the mold that society says is beautiful or perfect, but who cares?? The only one that matters is God and He loves how He created each one of us. We each have a special purpose that only He knows and He will reveal it to us if we seek Him.

Another Scripture that this refers us to is Ephesians 2:6…

“For He raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.”

I don’t know about you, but I am fully excited to know that I am seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father! I can turn my head and ask God for anything and He sees His Son and me asking, what a blessing!! We have authority in Christ, we only have to exercise our authority. As the prayer goes on, we will take on that authority and use it to guard ourselves from the enemy’s schemes which are ongoing. What a blessing it is to know that God had all of this worked out for us before we were even on this earth. He had us in mind, has us in mind, and will always have us in mind. God loves us, He is the essence of love.

I wanted to get the next paragraph out in case you are excited to learn this prayer. I know that thousands of men and women all over the world are praying this prayer every day along with me and I invite you to. I had a friend ask if I would go ahead and send the entire prayer to her so I have. I am happy to do that for anyone who is interested, just let me know in the comments. Have a blessed day!
